Your home away from home in Hua Hin, Thailand. We are conveniently located in the centre of Hua Hin, just a few steps from the bus station, a few minutes to the beach, only ten minutes from the beautiful and famous train station and central to the city’s must see destinations.
We provide rooms for both long and short term rentals, which includes complimentary fresh coffee and drinks a healthy breakfast, room cleaning service and all inclusive utilities. All rooms are ensuite with hot shower and complimentary bathroom accessories have their own separate air-conditioning, flat screen tv’s with cable network and excellent Wi-Fi throughout. If you are looking for a BIG pool villa (Daily Rental) we also have another property located in Cha-am. It is suitable for team building events and family gatherings for any occasions. It hosts a swimming pool, water slide, jacuzzi, snooker table, karaoke, disco lights, outdoor kitchen and a BBQ grill. Table set-up for an event is also available upon request with an additional charge. See photos below.

The Pool House
The house is located in Cha-am. 5 bedrooms 5 bathroom with total of 11th queen size bed. It is suitable for daily rental for a group of team building events, family gatherings of any occasions, family vacation, with a swimming pool, water slide, snooker table , karaoke, disco lights, outdoor kitchen and BBQ grill. Table set-up for an event is also available upon request with an additional charge.
Group size are minimum of 8-10 people / Maximum 20 people

About Us
FAR FROM WORRIES
The Mama Thai Cottage had a rough start as it was purchased right at the beginning of the infamous Coronavirus and lockdown. During this period it has been renovated and decorated to a high standard, introducing it as a very modern, clean, quaint and relaxing guesthouse.
The new owners are Thai and Irish. Jirayu, has been running The Mama Thai Cooking School in San Francisco for over twenty years, which has been a huge success and has received many awards and much positive press and media. She is a nutritionalist, herbalist and qualified cooking instructor and every meal she prepares is ultimate gourmet, bursting with flavour.
They are really looking forward to the new venture, despite the worse and unthinkable start they’ve had to endure. They were also successfully running an Air BNB cottage that they built in Pacifica, California ten minutes from San Francisco, which consistently received top marks from it’s guests without exception. Their friendly warmth and joyous personalities are about the only thing that is infectious and plays a big part in their success in life and with anyone who has the luck to be in their company. They were made for hospitality with their attitude to guests and their attention to detail in cleanliness and service. They were, above all, looking forward to meeting new faces and making new friends every day – with their new venture.
The guesthouse is situated in Hua Hin, a sea side resort in The Gulf of Thailand, which boasts a tropical savannah climate. Temperatures are very warm to hot throughout the year, with only small variations. The year begins with the dry season (December–April), before the monsoon arrives in May. Rains ease somewhat from June to August before the heaviest rains begin in September and continue through November.
Hua Hin is a jewel of Thailand and popular with Thai people, tourists and The King, who has his summer palace there, which was originally built by King Prajadhipok (Rama VII) as he liked the place so much. It was later named Klai Kang Won (‘far from worries’) and is literally – a place fit for a King.
It is one of the most safest and cleanest parts of Thailand and one of the first beach resorts to be established after a train line was laid in the 1920‘s, now home to one the most beautiful, classical train stations you are likely to encounter. It is packed with amenities and restaurants which are served with, amongst other culinary delights – fresh sea food straight from the local fishing boats and abundant, clean ocean. There are many bars, cafés, shops and miles of undisturbed, golden, powdery beaches that feature numerous activities. It also has some of the finest golf courses in Asia, a bustling and vibrant night market, a floating market, famous temples, an arts village, a giant water park and to top it off – it is close to a National Park which is accessible via automotive transport through the cooling and glorious mountain range and nature reserve, surrounded by rivers, waterfalls and energetic, yet calming wildlife.
